Our History
In the middle of March 2001, we commenced with 4 people as a Filipino Bible Study Group and grew in numbers over the next 3 years. In the fourth year we moved our venue to Northside Christian Family Church (AOG). We were then called “Northside Filipino Church” in 2005 and was considered a satellite church under Northside Christian Church. We met every Saturday for 2 years and then decided to move it to a Sunday. It was not until towards the last quarter of 2006 where the ministry experienced a sustained growth. Year 2007 was significant in terms of the birthing of a couple more bible studies (Chermside, Stafford Heights & another one in the Gap), the youth ministry and the worship ministry. The momentum was sustained in 2008 with the start of the women's, men's, young adults' and children's ministry. In October of 2007 , we became a separate entity and with the desire to reach out not only to Filipinos but to other cultures, we then changed our name to "Northside Mission Church".
With the present leadership of Pastor Pete Caiga and Pastor Michael Arandela, together with the Church Elders, the vision to carry out the great commission by connecting people to Christ grew stronger. Hence in the latter part of 2011, the new church name "CHRIST CONNECT CHURCH" was launched. The Church's vision is to continue preaching the gospel of Christ and continue reaching souls for Him.
